You can customize as many as 100 price levels for different customer types (setting prices per item, by percentage or dollar amount), create sales orders, track sales by sales rep, help calculate commissions, and track backordered items.
Wholesalers may also enjoy streamlining their processes with QuickBooks. Now, sales orders can be instantly turned into purchase orders (no need to retype data), and customized reports show you at a glance what's on hand, what needs to be ordered to fill customer orders, and what is on order but has not been received.

How can I manage and track components and assembled goods as part of my inventory in Manufacturing & Wholesale Edition?
Premier Manufacturing & Wholesale Edition allows you to assemble a new inventory item using any combination of component items, including other assembly items. Manufacturing & Wholesale Edition can help you manage several light assembly or limited assembly tasks by performing the following:

When an assembled item is "built" in QuickBooks, components included in the assembled item are automatically deducted from inventory and the assembly item is added to inventory.

A price can be specified for assemblies that is not dependent on the sales price of the component items.

Activity information can be generated, including date assembled, quantity assembled, components used, and cost.

Thousands of component items can be combined to create an assembly.

The quantity of an assembly item that currently can be built from in-stock inventory components can be seen, as can the inventory items that must be added to build additional units.

Assembled items can be disassembled, and the on-hand quantities of the components automatically increase.
Premier Manufacturing & Wholesale Edition does not currently support LIFO/FIFO costing, serial number tracking, bills of materials, inventory multi-location tracking, bar code scanning, or raw materials purchasing or planning. Premier Manufacturing & Wholesale Edition also does not currently support extensive management of types of inventory that are typically "one-of-a kind" in nature.
